The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye has praised the recent ward congresses of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) held in Akinyele LG and throughout the 33 local government areas, describing them as a significant success. He credited this achievement to the party’s unity and the exemplary leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde.

In a statement made available to the public through his Chief Media Aide, Ogundipe Miracle on Saturday, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye expressed his satisfaction with the orderly conduct of the congresses across Akinyele and other local governments. “The ward congresses showcased the strength and unity of the PDP in Oyo State. Our members turned out in large numbers, and the process was peaceful and well-coordinated,” he remarked. “This success exemplifies the cohesive spirit within our party and the confidence we have in Governor Makinde’s leadership.”

The congresses, which aimed to elect ward executives and delegates for upcoming party primaries and conventions, witnessed significant participation throughout Oyo State’s 33 local government areas, with Akinyele LGA being noted for its outstanding organization. Hon. Akinleye attributed the smooth execution of the congresses to the governor’s commitment to grassroots development and party cohesion. “Governor Makinde has demonstrated what true leadership entails. His emphasis on unity and progress has fortified the PDP, establishing it as a powerful entity,” he stated.

The Akinyele Council Boss also lauded party members and key stakeholders for their commitment, encouraging them to keep up the momentum as future elections approach. “Our unity is our greatest strength.
