Engr. Adegoke Toheeb has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

His emergence followed a high-level stakeholders’ meeting and consultations among party leaders, where a consensus was reached in his favour after extensive deliberations.

The meeting, which had in attendance top party figures and key government functionaries, including Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and other critical stakeholders, underscored the party’s commitment to unity and strategic positioning ahead of the polls.

Engr. Adegoke Toheeb’s emergence was largely influenced by his credibility, grassroots connection, and demonstrated capacity to effectively represent the interests of the people at the federal level.

Party leaders noted that his candidacy reflects a deliberate effort to present a strong, acceptable, and result-oriented flagbearer capable of securing victory for the PDP while delivering quality representation.

After thorough consultations, stakeholders unanimously endorsed him as the party’s consensus candidate, expressing confidence in his leadership qualities and vision for the constituency.
