Former deputy governor and a chieftain of the PDP in oyo state has debunked the rumour of his resignation from the party.
We find it necessary to address the unfounded rumors circulating on social media, particularly those propagated by Adigun Ibadan and his associates from the APC, alleging that Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi is set to leave the PDP. These claims are not only baseless but also misleading, serving as a calculated attempt to undermine our party’s unity and strength. Such tactics are typical of those who fear the progress and solidarity that the PDP stands for an unpreceedented stride of the Governor Seyi Makinde adminstration in the State.

It is crucial for the public and our party members to recognize these allegations for what they are: a desperate ploy by the APC to create disarray within the PDP. Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi has been a steadfast leader of the PDP, demonstrating unwavering loyalty even during challenging times. His commitment to the party has never wavered, and he remains a vital pillar of support in our efforts to advance the interests of the PDP
We categorically state that Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi has never left the PDP and has no intention of doing so. His dedication to our party’s ideals and objectives has only grown stronger. The rumors propagated by Adigun Ibadan and his cohorts are an affront to the integrity of our party and reflect their own insecurities rather than any reality concerning Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi’s position or allegiance.

In light of these falsehoods, we call upon Adigun Ibadan and his associates to retract their misleading statements immediately. Failure to do so will leave us with no option but to consider legal action to protect the reputation of Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi and the PDP. We urge them to refrain from drawing our esteemed party members into their malicious schemes, as such actions only serve to highlight their own lack of credibility.
Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi remains fully committed to the progress of the PDP in Oyo State, working alongside the Executive Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde and other esteemed leaders and stakeholders. Together, we will continue to focus on our shared goals and the betterment of our community, undeterred by the unfounded rumors and divisive tactics of others. Let us stand united and resolute in our mission to serve the people of Oyo State.
