Jumu’ah Mubarak to all esteemed leaders, stakeholders, and members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Akinyele and Lagelu Federal Constituency.

On this blessed Friday a day cherished not only by Muslims but by all people of faith and goodwill as a time for reflection, renewed purpose, and collective prayer I, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke, extend my heartfelt greetings to you all.

In Islam, Friday is not just the end of the week it is a sacred encounter with divine mercy. It is a day when hearts are softened, prayers are elevated, and communities are drawn closer in faith and unity. And even for our non-Muslim brothers and sisters, Friday remains a symbolic moment for pausing, reflecting, and recharging for the days ahead.

The Holy Qur’an reminds us in Surah Aal-Imran (3:103):

“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided…”

This verse is more than spiritual guidance it is a timeless call to unity, shared purpose, and collective progress. In this spirit, I salute the unwavering commitment and sacrifices of our PDP members across Akinyele and Lagelu. Your loyalty, resilience, and hope for a better future continue to inspire me deeply.

With humility and a sincere heart, I seek your support as I offer myself to serve as your representative at the federal level. If granted the honour first as the candidate of our great party, and by Allah’s grace, as your voice in the National Assembly I pledge to uphold the values of transparency, inclusiveness, fairness, and result-driven leadership.

I make this solemn promise:

Every voice will matter.

Every ward will be carried along.

Every promise will be matched with deliberate action.

Every decision will be guided by the people’s will and the fear of God.

Together, let us not only strengthen the PDP but build a more united, prosperous, and inclusive Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency.

May this Jumu’ah bring peace to our homes, progress to our land, and unity to our hearts.
