Forum of Oyo LG Chiefs of Staff Laud Gov. Seyi Makinde at 58, Describe Him as A Visionary Leader with a Heart for the People

The Forum of Oyo State Local Government Chiefs of Staff has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, as he marks his 58th birthday, describing him as a leader per excellence, a visionary servant-leader, and a man whose large heart continues to beat for the welfare of the people of the state.

In a congratulatory message, made available to the public through the Forum’s Public Relations Officer , Hon Aderinwale Abideen Adeyemi, the forum praised Governor Makinde for his exemplary leadership style, which they noted is anchored on transparency, accountability, inclusiveness, and people-oriented governance. According to the statement, the governor’s administration has consistently demonstrated that leadership is about service, sacrifice, and the genuine pursuit of the common good, values that have endeared him to citizens across all strata of society.

The forum further commended Governor Makinde’s clear vision for sustainable development in Oyo State, citing his bold reforms, infrastructural strides, and commitment to strengthening local government administration. They noted that his leadership has empowered grassroots governance, enhanced service delivery at the local level, and restored confidence in government as

a tool for positive change and development.
Describing the governor as a man of the people, the forum highlighted his accessibility, humility, and responsiveness to the yearnings and aspirations of the masses.
