A seasoned Philanthropist and a staunch advocate of Good Governance from Ward 12, Akinyele Local Government, Hon(Chief) Olalere Solomon ERE has joined Millions of Nigerians to celebrate the Nations 65th Independence Anniversary.

In a statement made available to the public, Hon (Chief) Olalere Solomon ERE reflects on the significance of the 65th Independence Anniversary of Nigeria as a Nation.

In his Words he said, “Happy 65th Independence Anniversary to the wonderful people of Akinyele Local Government and Nigerians at large. As we gather to celebrate this significant occasion, it is a moment to reflect on Nigeria’s journey as a Nation and the remarkable progress we have made together. October 1, 1960, marks the day Nigeria gained her independence from British colonial rule, symbolizing the triumph of self-determination and the birth of a nation defined by its rich culture, diversity, and unity”.

“Before this historic milestone, Nigeria endured over six decades of British colonial rule. However, our National Leaders, including Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, and others, fought valiantly for the freedom we enjoy today. The sight of the Nigerian flag rising in place of the Union Jack on that day stands as a testament to our unity and collective strength. It reminds us that patriotism and cooperation are the bedrock of our Nation’s greatness”.

“As we come together to celebrate 65 years of independence, we are reminded that the resilience, hard work, and unity that brought us this far must continue to be our guiding principles.
