CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON THE PASSING OF FORMER PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
﴿ يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ ارْجِعِي إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً ﴾ [الفجر: 27–28]
“O tranquil soul, return to your Lord, well-pleased and well-pleasing.”

On behalf of the Agesin Islamic Foundation and the broader community of Dar al-Iftāʾ Tijāniyyah wal Ibrāhīmiyyah, I convey our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of the late President Muhammadu Buhari (RahimahuLlāh). His passing signifies not only the end of an era but the departure of a statesman whose life was a testament to resolute discipline, unflinching moral clarity, and sacrificial service to the nation. His legacy—intertwining military precision with civilian foresight—remains an enduring model of upright leadership grounded in devotion to national integrity and divine accountability.

We supplicate to Allāh ﷻ, the Most Merciful, to forgive his shortcomings, envelop his soul in divine mercy, and grant him an abode in Al-Firdaws al-Aʿlā among the righteous and the elect. May the Almighty fortify his family with patience and preserve the nation he served with leaders of sincerity, justice, and taqwāh.
