The PDP Oyo Central Senatorial Chairman, Hon. Oludayo Opatokun, has extended warm New Year 2026 greetings to the good people of Oyo Central Senatorial District, urging them to remain committed, steadfast and hopeful as they step into a new year filled with renewed promise and greater possibilities.

In a Statement made available to the public, Hon Oludayo Opatokun called on the people to embrace peace, tolerance and unity in their daily interactions, noting that harmonious coexistence remains the foundation for meaningful development and shared prosperity.

Hon. Opatokun emphasized that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) remains the only political platform truly committed to taking the people to the land of their dreams, describing the party as people-centered, progressive and responsive to the yearnings of the masses. He enjoined party members and supporters across the district to remain resolute and unwavering in their loyalty to the PDP, stressing that sustained unity and dedication are essential to consolidating the gains already recorded and achieving even greater victories in the days ahead.

The Oyo Central PDP Chairman also charged the people to continue to stand firmly behind the Governor Seyi Makinde–led administration, describing it as transparent, compassionate and genuinely people-oriented. According to him, the government’s policies and programmes have continued to touch lives positively across the state.
