Good day, Dear Good people of Akinyele Constituency 1,

I want to congratulate you all on the success of 2025 and being alive to witness the beginning of the year 2026.

2025 was particularly a testing year for us as Nigerians. But through our perseverance and grit, we weathered the storm, and we have forged ahead.

As your representative in the Oyo State House of Assembly, the just ended legislative year was one of consolidations from the previous years. Critical motions were moved on the floor of the house. Worthy of mention is the motion on the need to ban the use of mobile phones in private and public secondary schools in Oyo state. Also, my private member bill ” a bill for a law to establish the Oyo state consumer protection agency” is awaiting third reading. When passed, the law will strengthen consumers right against counterfeit products and also provide a legal framework for consumers against such products.

Also, another bill ” bill for a law to establish the Oyo state data protection agency ” is in the legal department. This bill serves to domesticate the national data protection law, as it is in several states of the federation

Several communities also received direct financial interventions for developmental projects and other programs. Communities like Akuro Olokun, Isaguna, Arikeuyo, Idi Amu, just to mention a few have benefitted from direct interventions. Additionally, over one hundred (100) solar powered streetlights were deployed across several communities (Elebu, Aba Odo, Igbo Oloyin, Ikereku, Onidundu, Abiola, Alase, etc)

In Ogbongan (ward 2), an abandoned solar powered borehole was converted to electrical, and we supported it with a 3.5kva generator. An existing borehole in Oyada village (ward 1) was also repaired and equipped with a 3.5kva generator.Ward 3, a Primary Health Centre was equipped with drugs to improve access to quality healthcare delivery for residents.

Also, two blocks of classrooms and staff rooms were renovated in Aponmode Moniya High School. In Community secondary school, Otun Agba-Akin, renovation of 13 blocks of classrooms were facilitated, and 520 sets of chairs and desks were delivered. Alawode community primary school is also presently undergoing renovation and complete face-lift.

Furthermore, just like the previous years, fifty (50) indigent students were sponsored for JAMB examinations, easing the financial burden on their families and supporting their academic aspirations. Tutorials were also organised for students preparing for the UTME. We will also be continuing the exercise in the year 2026.

In the area of human development, jobs were facilitated for indigenes and residents into SUBEB, Oyo state civil service, TESCOM as well as ministry of Lands.

Finally, two indigenes received their letters of employment into the Oyo state fire service this December. It was a proper Christmas gift for their families.

As your representative, communication channels are always open, and I am available for you every time and all times of the year.

I wish you a 2026 full of great achievements beyond your wildest imaginations.
